Description

Join us on a Historic Treasure Hunt of Hyderabad, to uncover some of the city’s hidden treasures!

A pleasant day trip starting at 8.30 am in the morning and closing around 5.00 pm in the evening, will take you through the Golconda Fort, Qutub Shahi tombs, Naya Qila, and Shilparamam, with a lovely lunch spread at the Taramati Baradari.

Places you will see:

The modern history of Golconda dates back to the 12 century AD, when the Kakatiya rulers built the first mud-fort atop a hill. The fort city was then ruled by the Bahmanis followed by the Qutub Shahi dynasty for seven generations, before their defeat by the Moghuls. The sprawling Golconda fort, Naya Qila, the Qutub Shahi necropolis and the Baradari together provide visitors an immersive experience of the Qutub Shahis’ times.

Things you will do:

The tour will be unlike any other regular sightseeing trip. The Treasure Hunt will have you forming teams by the draw of ancient coins, reading a unique compilation of articles on the historic city, solving clues and following treasure maps. Each location will present a distinct experience. While Golconda will have you completing stories from the past, Qutub Shahi tombs will have you solving cryptic codes, Naya Qila will have you decoding mirror reflections of words, and Shilparamam will have you following treasure maps! And yes, at Taramati Baradari, you will decipher historic food stories to earn yourself the very same dishes!

The locations are not very far apart, so the time lost in travel and the notorious Hyderabad traffic is limited.

So, step out of the concrete walls of the conference halls and come, explore the wonderful city of Hyderabad!
